Mini rice balls. Made them myself. :)

On my way back from Lightsticks Bargaining Trip with Wynne, Yan Ling and Rujun at Bugis Station. Super paiseh. Everyone stopped to look at me.

Outdoor Games Trial. Nice place. :)

Fort Canning. Plugs carved from wood.

Zixin and Teck Poh. LOL.

Dim Sum at Imperial Treasure Restarant

Alright, bye bye holidays. See you soon in eight weeks time.

Mini Educational Fair Fiesta Posters!

Finally managed to post them up. Cute, right? Looks so artistic. LOL.

Had our first camp trial yesterday. Ahhh.. Was quite bad. Sorry everyone. We were really last minute with the helpers list. But really want to thank you guys for being so understanding. Also want to thank those who stayed back to help us clear the stuff. Thank you! Really appreciate your help. :)

Went out on Crayon Shin Chan's crazy lorry for breakfast with Pooh Bear, Shu Shan, Mr Emo, Fei Yu Qing, Faceless Ghost, Ghost Rider and Jay Chou. Ha haa.. Feel much better now. Whooo.. So fun!

Alright, I'm taking a great leap here. See these stuff toys? I've been collecting them for a long, long time. Almost twenty years. Some of them are still brand new in their packaging. I got some from my friends and families, some overseas and some from plain impulses. Yeah, I'm lame. Took them all out to take a farewell photo.

I said I'm gonna take a great leap, right? Well, I'm going to donate them. Most of them. But I'm still keeping those I have emotional attachmemts with. Just those few. Other than that, I'm saying bye bye. :(

I'll miss you guys. Well, it's all for a good cause. Well done, Xiangting. Another step forward.

Goodbye, my friends. *blows nose*

Happy belated Earth Day!

Mask-making for KidsRead

KidsRead children, say cheese.

Well, rushed back to school after KidsRead for the Performance Department rehersal, then had GDD Meeting till 5 plus I guess. Then stayed back with Wynne to rush our Nightwalk proposal till 10 plus 11. Was just joking to Rujun that we will be staying back till ten. Didn't know it would be true. LOL. Bad joke.

Well, had been like that ever since after our exams. This is madness! This is Mentoring Frenzy! Mini Edu was like this also. Stayed back till 10 plus with Masdian, Wynne and Daniel to rush the Mini-Edu props. Gosh..

I need a break! I wanna go Europe. Give me a Kit Kat! This is supposed to be a holiday! I don't even have time to work now. I need a paycheck. Give me S$1,000,000!

Just came back from Batam a few days ago. Went for a short mission trip with Qiaolin. So fun! Whoo.. LOL. Promised Qiaolin not to spoil the market so I shan't elaborate more. Shhh..

Distinct flavour at Batam.

Uncle selling chips.

J.CO donuts. So much cheaper over at Batam.

Sunset. Love the telephone lines.

Had our dinner at Chinatown the day before we left. No more nice, nice porridge. :(

Gonna find another good porridge stall. In mood for a food trip soon!

Dang. Been having fever on and off these days. Was it the trip or does it have anything got to do with our camp planning. A bad omen? LOL.

Okay, okay no more crapping. Still have a lot of things to rush. People are gonna come running after me with chopping knives soon.

Haji Lane! Haji Lane! Went to Haji Lane with Li Yan yesterday! Took lots of photographs!

Here's a really cute CCTV.

Everything is just so cool. Envious.

There is a little museum inside this shop but we didn't go in cause we need to pay for admission. So we merely looked around the shop and took some photographs. I even bought a packet of cute, little five stones before we left. Hee.. Felt nostalgic.

The items in this shop are pretty pricey but classy. I love it!

An old telephone in perfect condition outside a shop boutique.

Hookah Pipes! Saw many people smoking with these.

Here's another reason why I love Haji Lane. They have lots of pretty wall designs.

Here. There. Everywhere!

Li Yan wanted to take the Trishaw but we didn't bear to part with that few dollars. (Yeah, we are kiam siap.) Fortunately, we found this at Istana Kampong Gelam. Guess it made her really happy! See her big, wide grin. LOL.

Mr Silver at IT Fair! Poor thing, his eyes were all red. Wan Jun looked really sad when I took his photo. I should have taken her photo and shown you guys.

Mini Edu Fair over! Enrolment over! Yay! Was so busy last few weeks over Mini Edu Fair. We went back to school almost everyday, day to night one particular week. I was a bit grouchy at first but then realised it was pretty fun afterall. Thank you, Rujun! Thank you, Masdian! FIESTA ROCKS! Also want to thank everyone who has helped us. You know who you are. I'd better not name you people out one by one in case I miss anyone or I'll be cursed for the rest of my life. LOL. Thank you so much. Really appreciate all the help that we have gotten since we were so short-handed. Thank you and stop calling me fshball! Stop, or fishball will choke you to death!

One last good news! I passed my IDEA module! Whoo hoo.. Even got B+. I don't have to forward module! Yay.. I was so scared I didn't dare to check my results. But surprise, surprise! Well, now we know. Our IDEA lecturer didn't mark our attendance. But that's the reason why I love her! Yay! :)

A screenshot of my animation for my final 3DF assignment. Couldn't upload on Youtube. Don't know why. Sad. :(

Watched White Palms with my class Movie Chiongsters after our killer Maths paper last week.

Verdict: I guess I just don't know how to appreciate art films. LOL.

Met up with Qiaolin last Tuesday for some Sparklers stuff. Thank you Qiao Lin for the treat at Wong Kok! :)

Class Outing at Seoul Garden on 26 February 2009

Thank you Cheong Ghim, Aisyah and Daren for the treat! You guys are the best!

LOL. This is a funny photo. We used corns, broccolis and carrots to clean the barbeque pit then we didn't know where to throw them so we put them inside this bowl. Don't you think it looks like Black Pepper Cream Veggie Soup?

Verdict: Maybe we can consider washing our plates with corns next time. They make good scrubbers.

I love 1B01!

Our last memory. :) I'll miss you guys. Miss me too. LOL.

Just discovered a very good steamboat restaurant. It's at Bugis opposite Shaw Tower. I forgot the name. Sorry. But there's a lot of varieties. It's only $18 nett per person. And it's so much better than the steamboats at Marina South.

Mei Mei ate 10 crabs yesterday! Wei Yang and Jeremy ate like 1 million clams and dumplings. Crazy eaters. But the food was really superb. Then we wrapped up with some desserts at Crystal Jade Hong Kong Cafe. So I guess after all the eating this week, I think I've put on 5Kg. LOL.

Finally completed my DVDE module! Yay!

But that stupid Scoopzman gave us C+. Real spoiler, man. Damn you, Scoopzman. I shall never eat Scoopz anymore.

Anyway, was on my way home just now then wanted to eat Berrylite. But realised they have shifted to Parkway. Ahhh.. Soo far. No more Berrylite for a while now. :(

Anyway, handed up my Webp asssignment today. Cute right? It's simple but then.. it's still cute.

Shan't say too much. Still have other assignments to do. Chiong arh!

Happy Chinese New Year, everyone!

Had our reunion dinner at Cidan then went on to k with my relatives after our dinner. :)

Can you tell which is my mom? I am a carbon copy of her.

Yeah, the second one from the left. She's right beside me. No pun intended (learnt from InuAisyah.) LOL.

Mr Money was really funny yesterday. He was teaching us the frequency distribution table and asked if we could find the mean even without the individual values. And so I shouted, "agar agar!" He was very pleased with the answer and kept using the term throughout the lesson.

Mr Money: So we agar agar use the frequency to agar agar the total value to find out the agar agar mean. LOL.

Entertaining lecturer. Can compete with Mr Kiwi.

Mr Tan's polariod! Took this in class during our programming lesson. :)

Polariod

Watched Ponyo Ponyo with Pei Pei, Wan Wan, Ping Ping, Ling Ling, Puay Puay, Mei Mei and Jun Jun at The Cathay last, last Thursday. It was cute but not as good as Spirited Away. Then had Merlionster at Ben & Jerry's. But no kick. Should try Vermonster next time. Will definitely put on 10kg afterwards.

Picture of Ponyo Ponyo

Went to help out for the SP Openhouse with Mr Mayday and Ms Candy Floss last, last Saturday. Not many people played the games. So we ended up walking around begging for goodie bags and finding the super nice SP Elderflower Pokka tea.

Then went to shop at the West Coast Plaza. Found my McDonald's bear from Comic Connection! Had a hard time finding it. Wasn't even able to find it on eBay. I'm calling it Ginza Bear. :)

Photo of Ginza Bear

Celebrated Wan Wan's birthday with Ling Ling, Puay Puay, Sha Sha, Mr Biong, Mr Dustbin, Friend No 1, Mr $4000 and Mr Rich Man last Thursday at Sakae Sushi. Watched Bedtime Stories. Stupid Dustbin spreaded cream on my hand like nobody's business. As if spreading butter on a bread. Then the girls kept discussing about that Sakae Uncle. Ahem ahem.. too old. Too old. Cannot. But glad that Wan Wan had fun. Welcome to the two X Club! Haha!

Bedtime Stories Movie Poster

Went to Health Zone for our SC Outing last Saturady. Was really fun. But Science Centre is still better. Then PK-ed with Mr Mayday after our outing. Zi Xin sounded like Angela Zhang. Gary sounded like Crayon Shin Chan. Kenneth sounded like Jay Chou. Sam sounded like Fei Yu Qing. LOL. Exactly the same. I swear! Then Henry sounded like my spoilt casette tape. LOL. Joking, joking.

Had my first reunion dinner last Sunday. Yeah, a bit kiasu. But I still have two more reunion dinners to go! Yay.. Chinese New Year = Good Food!

Anyway, got this brinjal pouch at the push cart at SB Foyer for only one dollar. Very cheap! They sell other softies too at either $1 and $2. Go take a look. You might find something you like. (It's all brand new.)

Went to Boon Lay CC for countdown with Jeremy on New Year's Eve. Not too bad. At least there were were some fireworks. But a bit pathetic.

That's Hardy Mirza.

Countdown 2009 with Hardy Mirza

Had steamboat at Chewy's place with Chewy's boyfriend, Pinky, Joyner and Wee Ling last Friday. Thank you girls for organising! Really appreciate all the hardwork. It somehow felt like a reunion dinner. :)

A lot of people said they like my current blogskin but please don't be mistaken. It wasn't designed by me. It was by SPLASH!

However, this one is. Monsters Delights. I just finished it today for my WebP assignment.

Last minute work but it's still presentable. So relax. :)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Damn, I take back my words. Bala said I gotta redo cause I used the whole picture as my background and so it's cheating. Dang. :(

I hate redoing my work! Arrgh.. What's wrong with that? You still get the same end product. Plus it's more efficient that way.

Saw two Ah Guas today! OMG. And one sissy. That sissy even asked me to help him massage his shoulders. Hello? This is an art gallery, not a massage parlor. Gross.

Anyway, Merry, merry Christmas everyone! :)

To the stranger who was blocking my view all the time, Merry Christmas also.

Had a Christmas Barbeque at my cousin's place on Christmas Eve. But, it was raining that day. So my whacky, smarty pants Uncle decided to microwave our food. LOL. But we did manage to barbeque a little after my Nyonya show at 10pm. Lucky.

Went filming for our Mentoring Video on Friday. I think Nazihah, Mr Batman Joker Emo 5566 and I have successfully evolved to become the most spastic people on earth. Stupid, we were reading off the script with the laptop in front of us.

Managed to meet up with Qiao Lin for dinner after the filming at Crystal Jade (yucks!) and some shopping at Bugis Village. Woot! And she has some interesting plans for me for 2009! Sweet.

Did our IDEA shopping last week at IKEA.

IDEA = IKEA. Do you see our vision? Some pretty crystal balls sold there. $6.90 only.

Also managed to meet up with Pei Lin last week. But for some reasons, ahem, (dirty shirt) coughs coughs, she hates Berrylite which I so love.

And the funniest thing that happened this holiday was the one day job at Asia Pacific Brewery for Tiger Beer. Ha haa.. Even dragged Ethel and Jia Jun. I don't even drink. But I thought it was pretty fun. LOL. Thanks, Elaine for the lobang! :)

Well, that's my holiday. Not too bad. Kinda fun.
But here comes hell. Yikes!

Keyboard lessons are back! Hooray! Managed to learn this song. A simplied one only. LOL. I'm not that pro yet.

Had a torturous four-and-a-half hours Sub-Comm meeting today. Almost died half-way. But at least I got into the Fiesta Department. Lucky.

Plus, we tried a personality test. Just confirmed that I'm a dorminant and arrogant Choleric. Dang.

Went down for the Health Mapping Excercise with Sinagpore Heart Foundation (SHF) for our CIP last Thursday and Friday. Kinda fun. Had InuAisyah, Friend Number One and Miss Gentle as my team mates.

We had to go door-to-door to conduct the free health screening checks. Most of the folks were rather friendly. There was just one old lady that made a pretty deep impression. She reminded me of a typical cartoon charater from Studio Ghibli. Even InuAisyah was amused by her speech. She was on the phone and InuAisyah claimed that she heard her say "I'm the only person on this world." Well, I wonder what happened to the rest of the 6,867,770,236 human population.

She looks like this. But much cuter.

Then went down to town with fluffy after our training on Thursday. Met a cranky uncle with a Donald Duck's voice on our way home.

Had dinner at Holland Village after our CIP on Friday and then went down to IMM for shopping! Got myself another pretty bag. Sweet. :)

5:13:00 PM

Monday, December 08, 2008
Went to crash fluffy's group for their Kinokuniya trip on Friday cause backpacking class was cancelled.

Then went for night cycling with the usual Ghost-cum-Transversites-Hunting Gang. I was telling InuAisyah that morning I had a very bad feeling about the trip and I was right. Even Yu Qian felt uneasy that day. Fortunately nothing really serious happened. I almost thought one of us would be possessed or kidnapped by the ghosts. But poor Yu Qian, she sprained her foot twice that night.

And I saw a face at the Old Changi Hospital. I thought it was my imagination initially but Wei Yang saw the exact same thing, at the exact same window. Shivers. I don't know if I want to do that again. I had a sudden, weird conviction that day after we ended. That it feels so good to be alive. Well and safe. Weird for me to say something like that. Don't know.

Finished all of my papers and assignments and it feels GREAT! Went down to town with Wei Yang, Mei Mei and Jeremy yesterday. Managed to solve a tricky issue with the help of my dear, dear friends. :)

Ended school early today. And did something unexpected today. I played basketball? Yeah, and I just comfirmed something which I already know. I suck at sports.

12:39:00 AM

Monday, December 01, 2008
Yay.. Completed my DVDE assignment! Phew.. Past two days were a killer. And a big thank you to the three carpenters White Dustbin, Yan Ru and Friend No. One. You guys were of a great help.

Here's my final piece. We were supposed to design a poster for NParks.

The little, gray fellow over there is a monitor lizard in case you are wondering. And it's not a dog! The first monitor lizard was even worse. I showed it to my mom and she thought it was a pile of soil. At least she didn't say it looks like a pile of shit.

Well no suprise, since my monkey was once mistaken as a pikachu. Stupid fluffy. Stupid Leon. Stupid Pikachu. Who ask him to look like my monkey. My monkey is so much cuter, okay?

Many things happened today. Was quite chaotic. But thank God, it's over! At least I've enjoyed it. Enjoyed the rush and puff.

Had dinner at Botak Jones with Rich Man, Panda Man, InuAisyah, Friend No. One, White Dustbin and Yan Ru. Then home sweet home. Gotta have a good rest today. Good night, everyone! :)

Three cheers for myself! I've finally finished my 3DF assignment! Took me one whole, intensive week of Kaya-Mayaing and a lot of skipping lessons before I could produce this.

Stage One: Modelling

Stage Two: Texturing
Stage Three: Lighting

Yeah, I know. The curtain sucks. But I was super fed up with the UV mapping already. So just gotta make do with it. I've got some constructive comments from my coursemates regarding the modelling. But one of them was pretty out-of-the-world.

Went to the SAM with Mother Teresa and Panda Man for my DVDE assignment which was due today?! Oops. And I missed two meetings today. Another oops.

Wanted to take a long hallway but I wasn't able to find my ideal angle. Well, guess I'll just have to use Maya for DVDE. But I did manage to get some interesting shots.

I love this one.

And this one. Ha haa..

SAM doesn't allow photography. So I'm posting these pictures up secretly. Shhh..

My camera had to play hide-and-seek with the security guards. There were just so many of them. One in each gallery. Their maintainence fees must be high.

I'm suprised there was quite a considerable amount of nudity in the art pieces and videos. Hmmm.. Guess I'm just outdated. Didn't know Singapore has moved out of her conservative shell already.

Anyway, I'm gonna start my DVDE tomorrow. Yosh. Looking forward to assignment-less days again!

12:53:00 AM

Yes. Maya Kaya left 15%. Good good. Thank you so much Aisyah and Cheeryl and the others who have helped me! I'm definitely able to finsh the assignment by tomorrow! Cheers!

I'm a noob no more. :)

Eiffel Tower, Paris

Beautiful right? I want my grade to be like that too. A bit hard considering how little time I have till my deadline. Gonna die in 3 days.

Help! Assignments overloaded.

9:59:00 PM

Sunday, November 16, 2008
Alright, managed to complete quite a bit of assignments. I've studied 90% for my Econs test! Yay! So I'm only left with 10% for tomorrow then I'm ready for the dreaded-no-more Econs CA1 on Tuesday. :)

Then I've also completed Tutorial 3 for WebP. Phew.. Bala has gone for re-service so I guessed it's okay to hand up late. Better late than never I suppose! Now you know why I'm always late for class.

Then I've also completed most of Maths Tutorial 3 and 4! That didn't take very long. I didn't know how to do some questions though. Don't even know what they were asking for.

Completed my portfolio for CD. 60% actually. But I guess it's okay cause there's nothing else for me to write. Anymore and I would be lying.

So I'm just left with DVDE which I haven't started. Gosh, I need to take photos soon! Real soon. I'm behind time already. I started a little on 3DF. Finally. Thank God. Managed to model a cup and a saucer?! Lol.. Alright, gotta buck up on that one as well. And then I'm left with Backpacking presentation. We are doing on China. Thought Europe would be more interesting though. But China is cheap so it's good. :)

Yep, well done Xiangting! A few more weeks and I'm free again! Yoo hoo! Counting down to holidays already!

Some ultra cool hotels that I want to visit!

Ice Hotel, Sweden

Underwater Hotel, Dubai (2009)

You may soon be able to sleep with the fishes in the Middle East - and in luxury, which you might well expect when you're paying as much as US$5,500 for a day's lodging.

Space Hotel (2012)

The hotel, "Galactic Suites," will allow adventurous travelers to enjoy a spectacular starry view from their hotel rooms, see the Sun rise 15 times a day and take part in scientific experiments while they are not using Velcro suits to crawl around their pod-room walls. :)

The trip won't be cheap though--a three-day stay will cost around $4 million, according to Reuters.

Went to see the dentist last Firday. Had an X-ray and was given some painkillers after the check-up. But it felt more like a botox injection cause half of my lower face was numb after the whole session. And the worse thing was the anaesthetic only wore off after 3 hours or so. I looked as if I was smirking all the time. Dang.

Headed home to rest cause I didn't want to go around lookng like a jackass. Then went for the CSI (Camp of Scouting Incredible and Interaction) Mentoring Camp. The whole idea of this camp was to solve a case of a serial murder. It was really creative. Never had a camp like this before. We were given clues and evidence like a photograph, journals, a scribbled strip of paper, laboratory findings, autospy results, a voice recording, a will, a family tree and other stuff which I couldn't remember. We had to use them to find the serial killer. We ran around Singapore to get the clues, from SP to Taka to Plaza Sing to Larvender to Bugis to Tiong Bahru to Outram then finally back to Dover. I almost died half-way. Gosh.

InuAisyah and I went to the NEWater Plant with SPSE today.

It was much nicer than I thought. And it feels so much like Science Centre. This is my favourite place. So discotheque-like.

Then we met up with Jia Jun and Mei Peng for our Bukit Timah hike. While we were on our way there, we saw Cheong Ghim's road. He must have used that $4,000 to buy a road.

Followed by Xin De's shop. LOL. Now, we know. Xin De is rich too.

Then we saw monkeys. A lot, a lot of them. Ethel? Wen Jie?

And then a Komodo Dragon! Or is it a Monitor Lizard? Ah whatever.

And finally, a beautiful sunset. :)

It was soooo fun today! I laughed so much. Thank you so much guys! :)

Peace!

10:43:00 PM

The CEO of Garskin came by yesterday! He was interested in buying the copyrights of the oil paintings in the gallery and printing them as laptop skins. Well, how cool is that? But I know nuts about copyrights and stuff like that so I just gave him my boss's namecard.

This is mine! I'm showing it off whenever I can. It's not Garskin. I ain't that rich. But it's limited edition! Cause there's my name. LOL.

Well, have been slogging for the past three days while everyone gets to enjoy the long weekend. It was not that bad actually. At least I can self-fund my new addiction -- Online Shopping!

Met up with Yu Qian and Jeremy for Twentieth Century Boys after work. Not bad. Just that the plot can be a little slow at times.

"Kenji kun, asobi ma shyo?"

Finally, another terrible, torturous, disgusting Tuesday conquered. Class starts at 8.30am and ends at 9.30pm every Tuesday! Can you believe it? I'm saturated now after 13 hours of class and that stupid 4 hours of Econs.

And here comes the good news! The Come Againers is recruiting! Membership is free but comes with Terms & Conditions. It was founded by Mind Corruptor InuyAisyah and Smug Student Xiangting on 29 October, 13:41:26pm at FC6! Saw a potential member today and that's none other than Mr Biong. Guess he will be one of us soon. Saw him did the sign during DVDE. Heh heh..

I love yesterday's KidsRead session! Read this book to the kids - The Talking Vegetables.

And we did some Pimp Your Vegetables Exercise. I was cutting like nobody's business the night before. Had to prepare those straps of coloured papers and do a sample for them.

I think we did a much better job this time. Yay.. Practice makes perfect. See how much the kids were enjoying? :)

Went on to meet Li Yan in the afternoon to shop at VivoCity. Had lunch at the White Dog Cafe. Cute.

That's Li Yan with her big, wide grin posing with her Chicken Consomme.

We shopped around at Vivo and went to Kster at Chinatown. Sang till 8 plus then home sweet home!

Went to K Mob with Aisyah, Mei Peng, Jia Jun, Sebastian and Cheeryl after school today. That stupid old hag fined us $10 for overshooting by 30 minutes. Then we told her we'll have to stay for another half an hour since the normal charging is $10/hr. Well, there was camera and I think they were disgusted by Mr Biong's actions so they came knocking on the door and lectured us. When it was finally 7.30pm we booked out. But that stupid old hag saw a damaged bean bag and accused us of being responsible for it. What the hell? We had to review the CCTV footages to prove our innocence. But it was kinda funny to look at ourselves. It felt like watching America's Funniest Videos or Just For Gags. Well, I guess it was really embarrassing for Mr Biong cause he did a lot of gross stuff. Anyway, we reviewed it and proved to them that it was oringially like that when we stepped in. But the funny thing was, the group before us was Koala Yan Ping and her other four girl friends. Ha ha.. It looks like spycam when we watched their footages. One of them were even dancing inside. LOL. It was quite terrible but I love today's K Mob session!

Went to the Farewell Party at the Jurong Fuji Ice Palace with Elaine and her SPARCians friends! (I don't know if that's what they call themselves. Sounds like spartans though.) It was really fun! There was buffet and performances as well.

I really enjoyed myself but it's really sad to see it close down. It holds so many of my memories. I've made so many friends there. I've had so much fun all these years. Well, that's life. Nothing last forever.

Anyway, here's a picture of the Rockefeller Ice Rink in New York City. I'm gonna go there one day. I swear.

Just came back from chalet last Wednesday. Had fun catching mini crabs and barbequing cockroaches. Evil grin. Fun but they stink when they melt.

Today was really terrible. Wanted to go for the Astro Sentosa outing after Mentoring. And so I went home to change my clothes but then I forgot to bring my keys. (Ah! I'm a sotong!) I thought my brother was home cause the ceiling fan was on, the lights was on and most importantly, the wooden door was opened. I thought he was in the bathroom and so I waited outside for an hour. But it turned out that he wasn't. My neighbour saw me pacing outside my house and offered to drive me to get the keys from my mom. He was on his way to re-service anyway. Well, thank God. If not, I would have rotten to death. Then met up with Jeremy at West Mall for lunch. Then we walked all the way from Bukit Batok to Boon Lay. Ha haa.. It took longer than expected. I think we took about 4 hours. We even went to the pagoda at Chinese Garden. I was supposed to scare him by telling him ghost stories but I was laughing throughout. Well, really should practice more. Then had dinner and home sweet home. What a day! I'm dead beat.

Yay.. I finally got to taste the Korean Kkul Dduk at Novena yesterday! Yum. I've always wanted to try this Korean dessert.

Went to Novena and Far East with Jaslyn yesterday. We went to Curry Favour for dinner and I had Matcha Cheesecake with ice cream for dessert! Slurp!

Well, Friday was my last day of work. We celebrated my farewell during lunch. Really, I just don't understand why people use the word "celebrate" for farewells. Are they that happy to send me off? Anyway, had the pottie pie at Rocky Masters and Caramel Almond Fudge at Bakin Boys.

I really am going to miss my lunch mates -- Dove Chocolate Meng Hui, Koala Biscuit Yan Ping, Ribena Wei Ni and Bubble Tea Yu Hua. Koala Biscuit Yan Ping is from SB so I can still meet her up for lunch once in a while.

I love their chairs at A*Star. Really cute. It feels like suede. Very comfy. Wonder where they got them. Maybe I should put one in my room. :)

Well, had a Ghost Trail last Wednesday with Yu Qian, Wei Yang and Jeremy. Kinda too little, too scary. We didn't meet any of those you-know-what but we did saw a lot of guard dogs. I'm really scared of dogs. And there were six of them, really huge ones at the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. They were all barking at the same time and some even tried to run towards us. Whoa, I was the first one to run. I was so freaked out. Damn.. That was really scary. It was a pity we couldn't go inside. They say it's really nice in there. With the sea surrounding the island. Well, better luck next time. Maybe there really was something in there and the dogs were warning us. At least I'm still alive.

After that, we went to Changi Village to see transvestites. Ha ha.. We saw three and we actually had a strange encounter with one of them. I shall not put it here since it contains a little of NC16 stuff. But it was really funny.

Then afterwards, we tried to cycle to the Old Changi Hospital but we missed a turn so we decided to go to the Red House instead. We didn't go in but we took a lot of photos. I deleted all of them except this one. I took this one at the Red House. It's red because I took it with the Night Mode Settings. I love this photo. It reminds me of some evil aura.

I really think we did more of cycling than ghost hunting. We started cycling at 11pm until the next day 9.30am. My legs were numb when we finished. But we still went to Junction 8 for the Painted Skin movie. Well, I think it was worth the money. Not scary but I consider it a good watch.

These are some of the photos I took at Tampines Road. It was raining in the morning so we had to stop a while. (But cycling in the rain was fun too.) I saw this UFO look alike struture and decided to take it. Cool, huh? I forgot to check the name of the company though.

The temple looks so old that's alluring. And so I took it too.

Well, that's all for my ghost trail. I met up with my JC buddies, Pei Lin, Wan Xin, Hui Yan and Hui Ting last, last Wednesday. We went to Coronation Plaza for dinner and to Island Creamery for desserts! We shared a mud pie and a whole tub of Burnt Caramel.

The mud pie was nice but the Burnt Caramel tasted more like butter than ice cream. It looks like butter too. Maybe it is. :S

Alright I've been listening to Drift Away by Uncle Kracker. Below is a clip of a handicapped gutarist, Mark Goffeney from San Diego playing Drift Away with his feet. Watch it. It's worth your time. Trust me. This video has actually made me pick up guitar again.

Anyway, went for KidsRead just now. It was my first time conducting a KidsRead session. Me and Yu Yun were quite taken aback because the kids were just so hyperactive. Whoa.. It was scary. I kinda have to shout most of the time and I did find myself quite irritating. It was really chaotic but at least I had a great time working with my partner. :) We'll do better next time. Way to go man!

Well, I'll be starting work on Monday. Just went down to Orchard to sign the contract today. $6 bucks per hour. :(

I promised to ice skate with Elaine, Pei Yan and Steven next Monday. If there are four of us, it will be cheaper and we get to skate for unlimited hours. Then I also promised Violet, Wei Yang and his friends for a ghost trail around Old Changi Hospital and some other haunted places later at night. I was the one who was so sure about these trips but now I'm the first to back out. I feel so lousy now.

What happened was another agent took over my agent's work when she went on a half-day leave yesterday and placed me in this job mistakenly. So a simple mistake of hers has actually caused me so much trouble and disappointment. Ugh.. I feel like killing her. I can't believe she could still be so nonchalant just now. Damn damn damn.

Anyway after signing the contract, Qiao Ling and I went to Delifrance and had this for our dessert.

Sinful but it cheered me up. Then we went to KK Hospital to visit Jane and her baby.

Cute. No where near my agent.

Okay this sucks. Went for an interview this morning, for a temp HR admin assistant position at A*Star. The atmosphere was so suffocating. I was being interviewed by 3 people for a two weeks temp assignment!? Can you believe it? I only had to go through a phone interview when I applied for a three months temp admin position at STB.

I felt so out-of-place there. The people didn't seem to be that friendly. Anyway, I met another interviewee who was scheduled after me. (I wasn't supposed to bump into her but since I was late for the whole of 15 minutes, you know.) She is a year one student from School of Business in SP. What a coincidence.

Well, chatted for a while before I was called in for the interview. I gave up half way because I knew they didn't like me - a reject from NTU and NUS. I was told to call my agent after the interview and I did. I told her I would give it a pass and said sorry. That was how I said no tactfully. But guess what? They called me at around 4pm and told me I've report to work next Monday! What? Didn't I said no? I don't want the job. The people there are really scary. I think they chose me because they have no other choice. They needed someone urgently and I kinda have some experience. Even my agent knew I flunk my interview.

I don't know, all of these is really giving me a headache. Anyway, I met up with Yu Yun after the terrible interview and we discussed the stuff we will be doing this Saturday at the KidsRead. It will be our first time conducting the session so I guess it will be kinda exciting. Then met up with Li Yan to do some shopping at AMK Hub. Went to eat at Fish & Co. Had my usual New York Fish & Chips. Then I bought this really pretty green bag and a piece of brownish-green office blouse. Nice nice. At least there's something nice about today.

August 20, 2008 - The PSP design crew apparently never sits still. During its Games Convention press conference over in Leipzig, Germany, Sony took the wraps off of the much-rumored PSP 3000. The new device has the same base functionality as the current PSP (known as PSP slim, aka the PSP 2000), and in fact looks pretty much the same. However, there are of course a couple new features.

The PSP 3000 will include a built-in microphone for use with Skype and Go Messenger. It will also feature an "enhanced" LCD screen, with more vibrant colors and reduced glare when using it outside.

The system will launch in Europe on October 15th for 199 Euros, with the PSP slim dropping to 169 Euros.

OMG.. Should I wait for the new PSP 3000? I went back to Queensway to help out today and was checking out the prices there after work. The lowest I got for a PSP Slim package was $298. I asked them about the new series and they said we would most probably have to wait a while for it to launch in Singapore and even longer for the geniuses to find ways to crack and modify them. Another guy even said that the prices for the PSP Slim will increase (what?) due to higher demand for modified PSPs since the new PSP 3000 would be too hard to modify or not even able to modify.

Alright, I'm seriously confused now. So is the price going to increase or decrease? Up or down? These people are really out to confuse me. Well, since patience is a virtue, I didn't get mine today. Although I so intended to. What a disappointment. :(

Alright, I'm back from chalet. I should have realised long ago that the animals at Downtown East hated me as much as I hated them. I was playing volleyball with the girls and Jia Jun when I got lucky with a bird shit. It landed right smack between my index finger and thumb. Damn. And I had a grasshopper on my head, counting the strands of my hair the last time I was there.

My, my. But other than the over friendly mosquitos and the little present from our furry birdy pal, I can happily say I've thoroughly enjoyed the whole three days of the chalet. We even went night cycling on the second night to the Red House but we didn't go in. I wouldn't dare even if they wanted to.

Anyway, I got myself a 320GB Western Digital portable hard drive (My Passport) from Comex today. Yay!

I got the green one. :) $149.90 with free carry case and a backup software. (Plain lucky. I was at the booth at 8.55pm, five minutes before closing time and that's was when they threw in the free software.) Lucky!

Michael Phelps became the first competitor in the history of the Olympics to win eight gold medals at a single Games as the United States won the men's 4x100m medley relay on Sunday.

With the victory, Phelps overtook compatriot Mark Spitz, who won seven swimming gold medals at Munich in 1972.

Phelps had opened the swimming competition with a victory in the first event, the 400m individual medley, and went on to win the 200m medley, 100m and 200m butterfly, 200m freestyle and both the 4x100m and 4x200m freestyle relays.

Seven of his golds - including the first six - all came with world records, while his seventh, in the 100m butterfly, was by a margin of just one one-hundredth of a second.

In Athens four years ago, Phelps won six gold medals (100m and 200m butterfly, 200 and 400m individual medley, 4x200m freestyle relay and 4x100m medley relay), and two bronze (200m free and 4x100m free relay).

His 14 career gold medals are the most of any Olympian, with his nearest rivals Spitz, athletes Carl Lewis and Paavo Nurmi and Gymnast Larysa Latynina - who all won nine in their careers.

He's definitely my type of guy. I want to marry him!

Attented my cousin's 21st birthday party at CSC today. And she made these for us. Each family has one.

We are the Soh family and there's my name and my brother's (Xiangting and Bao Quan.) Aww.. That's so sweet of her. :)

I guess time really flies. We used to play barbie dolls together and now we are all grown up. I kinda feel a little nostalgic now. (Maybe we should play barbie dolls again some day.)

Anyway, here's my last minute skin design for the Linksys Router.

Phew, at least I managed to come up with one in time. I don't know. I realised I've become more and more last minute. This has always been a bad habit of mine and was part of the reason why I did so badly for my As. Alright, this shall be the last time. No more last minute work for me. No more procastination.

I'm going to dedicate the whole of tomorrow to study java programming. Alright! :)

Hooray to Xiangting!

Does this photo reminds you of a crime scene and the likes?

Anyway, here's my second DVDE assignment. it looks okay here but the quality sucks after I printed it out! Dang. To think I even spent a dollar fifty on the printing. So not cheap!

Well, last few weeks were crazy. Aisyah and I went to National Sailing Centre for filming for our VAF assignment last, last Saturday. And I had to wake up at 6 plus! Oh man, it was really bad. I hate waking up early. But the filming was really fun. We got to have a ride on a boat to film the sailors.

Then last Monday was my birthday! Whoo hoo.. Went all the way to Kallang Leisure Park for ice skating, and ate Nihon Mura and Azabu Sabo.

Mattcha Zen at Azabu Sabo

And I had a great chat with Elaine on Tuesday after our keyboard lesson. We went to Mac for Green Tea McFlurry! Green tea again! :) Anyway, I realised that we are 99% similar in interests. We both love ice cream waffles, cheesecakes, bubble tea, nature, travelling, ice skating, purple, and music! That's why we signed up for keyboard lessons! However, the scariest and most uncanny thing is that both of us only know a little bit of guitar, (and have I mentioned we both love God of Wonders and Heart of Worship?) but we were never able to master piano. LOL. And we are both 20 and July babies! Ha ha.. Ah.. This is too much of a coincidence! My gosh! And we both have the same chocolate pencil case. Just that hers is dark chocolate and mine is milk chocolate.

Now you believe wierd things do happen. Here's another example. Phoebe, Wen Jie and I were on the bus waiting to alight at the next stop while we were on our way back to school from Queensway Shopping Centre. Then after pressing the bell, Phoebe suddenly had this weird question. She asked if we have ever encountered a time where the bus driver forgot to stop at the bus stop. Both of us said no and the next thing we knew, we just missed ours. Dang.

And here's a good news. I finally sold a painting yesterday! Yay! And I earned myself $31.20. My first comission! :)

I had a shock of my life when I was looking through my photos! What is Dave doing inside my camera?

Well, someone must have played with my camera during 3D Fundamentals class and actually took a 100% hilarious photo of Dave. Anyway, talking about my camera, I've finally finished modelling it for my first assignment. Ta dah!

Nice, right? Of course! Who am I? But I sent in the ugly one which is the one with the black background cause I didn't know how to render. Well, it's okay. There's always assignment two.

Here's something even nicer!

I was at Clementi interchange, near the old McDonald's the other day. It was raining really heavily and the ground was all flooded. I was walking down the stairs when I saw the reflection of the neon lights from the coffee shop. It looked pretty captivating and so I took it. But, I was given dirty looks when I took this photo cause I was blocking the already crammed passage way.

Good news! I got a B+ for my first drawing assignment! Yay.. I really thought I was going to get a C when I handed in my drawing. I just didn't have enough time to finish. Xin De was beside me when I was frantically trying to rush through my drawing. Then he said, "Why so white?" I looked back at the paper and got really worried. My drawing was really small and the shading was way too light. Ms Wendy also came and said, "You're so slow." She then helped me with the shadows and tried to darken my shading. Aisyah also came to help me darken it. (Thanks, Aisyah!) See? It was so bad that I needed so many people's help. When time was finally up, I handed in my unfinished piece and knew I was going to get a C.

But in the end, Ms Wendy told me I got a B+ today! I was so shocked that I was expressionless. She looked at me and thought I was disappointed and she tried to console me, "It's quite an okay grade." Ha ha.. Yay to Wendy. Yay to Aisyah. Yay to B+. And yay to me! :)

I love being busy. It makes me feel that I'm making full use of my time. It makes me feel alive!

Well, sad, sad, sad. I was looking through the sales record today at the art gallery and I found out that only three paintings were sold this month. One on 9 July and another two yesterday (12 July). Gosh, that explains why I haven't been able to earn any commission. Never mind, it's all about the experience. Who cares about the money?

Well sadly, I do. Oh.. Mummy. I'm only earning 5 bucks an hour and since I only work once a week every Sunday for seven hours, that means I'm only earning $140 per month. This measely amount won't be enough to feed a glutton like me.

Okay seriously, I'm taking in donation. Please call 1900-112-500 to donate $500 to Miss Su Xiangting now. Lines are open 24/7. Thank you for your generosity in advance.

By the way, I saw a really cute guy today. If you guys watched Hana Kimi, then you would know Sano. I saw this guy who looked so much like Oguri Shun (Sano) on the train today. He kept looking at me when I was reading yesterday's Today (newspaper). Either he thinks I'm cute or I'm weird. Must be the latter.

Our class loves jamming and K-ing a lot. We have been going to Moberly for three consecutive days already. LOL..

Anyway, here's the link to my brother's website. You can download his songs for free here! Pretty cool. Check it out!
