I can't drink bubble tea anymore. No more gummy, chewy pearls for me. :( Saturday, June 28, 2008
Don't you guys just love the zoo?
Well, I simply heart the zoo. Just a question for everyone. Do you guys think the animals in the zoo are happy?
I once thought that they are the fortunate ones. They have free lodging, regular eating and bathing times, probably having more than one personal attendants and maids to look after them. They are like celebrities staying in hotels.
But then again, I feel that they may not be exactly happy after all. They are trapped! No different from the criminals serving life sentences in prisons.

Gossip sites are full of speculation that four of the five cartoon mascots have fulfilled prophesies of doom with one more, connected to the Yangtze River, still to come, the South China Morning Post said.
Jingjing, a panda, is the animal most closely associated with Sichuan province where the earthquake struck.
Huanhuan, a cartoon character with flame-red hair, is being linked by bloggers to the Olympic torch that has been dogged by anti-China protests on its round-the-world tour.
Yingying, an antelope, is an animal confined to the borders of Tibet, which has been the scene of riots and the cause of international protests against China, the bloggers say.
Nini, represented by a kite, is being viewed as a reference to the “kite city” of Weifang, in Shandong, where there was a deadly train crash last month.
That leaves only Beibei, represented by a sturgeon fish, which online doomsayers suggest could indicate a looming disaster in the Yangtze River, the only place where sturgeon is found.
Ha ha.. I don't buy that. What do you guys think? I think these people are just being too superstitious.

Alright, something absurd happened to me yesterday. I dragged Pei Lin for ice skating since it's cheaper on Tuesdays for ladies. When we were paying for our admission tickets, the counter lady actually asked for our ICs. That made us confused. The student admission ticket cost $15.10 on other days and it is only normal for them to check our Student Passes. But to actually request for our ICs to confirm that we are females? I don't know. It's just hilarious. Monday, June 16, 2008
You know maybe it would be better if there is no holidays at all. BUT we should have 3 days off every week. That's to say, we should divide all of our holidays to get an extra day off on top of our weekends. So we will have three days off and four working days every week. It would even be better if we can spread the days off. For example, we can have school on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Then we can play on Sunday, Wenesday and Friday! I'm a genius! So in conclusion, we should have a four day work week. Yes, you heard it right. Four day work week. Perfect!
Well, I don't think that will ever happen. At least not in Singapore. Dang, my holidays is coming to an end. Ah.. Now I'll have to readapt to school life again. See the problem with holidays? They make you happy with holidays then they make you sad when it ends.
Never mind, I'll just have to enjoy while I can. Camp tomorrow! Gotta go pack.

My bad. It's been almost a year since my last entry. I'm really glad there are people asking about my blog. This shows that they care. I'm glad. Thanks, so here goes.
STB Work Station
Well, I was really busy working. I just realised that I've stop blogging completely after I started working at Singapore Tourism Board. It was really wonderful working there. But the work can be quite overwhelming. The people there are really nice but the buffet is even nicer. For those who don't know, I've already left Singapore Tourism Board and I'm currently studying in Singapore Polytechnic. I'm doing Digital Media. The course that I really want. I got rejected by both NTU and NUS again. I'm sad of course. But I've got over it. Afterall, I don't think I'll be able to leave my poly friends behind. They are kinda goofy at times. Wacky too. Well, I love them for who they are. They may be younger than me but some of them are quite mature so it's easy to talk to. For the others who are still growing up, well, good for me too. I can be a 16 years-old all over again. I am young at heart!
It's holidays now. I'm glad. That means I can watch as many anime as I can! Yaadaa! But first I need to get my script done. Well, what should I write on?
