Alright, I'm back from chalet. I should have realised long ago that the animals at Downtown East hated me as much as I hated them. I was playing volleyball with the girls and Jia Jun when I got lucky with a bird shit. It landed right smack between my index finger and thumb. Damn. And I had a grasshopper on my head, counting the strands of my hair the last time I was there. My, my. But other than the over friendly mosquitos and the little present from our furry birdy pal, I can happily say I've thoroughly enjoyed the whole three days of the chalet. We even went night cycling on the second night to the Red House but we didn't go in. I wouldn't dare even if they wanted to.
Anyway, I got myself a 320GB Western Digital portable hard drive (My Passport) from Comex today. Yay!

I got the green one. :) $149.90 with free carry case and a backup software. (Plain lucky. I was at the booth at 8.55pm, five minutes before closing time and that's was when they threw in the free software.) Lucky!

Michael Phelps became the first competitor in the history of the Olympics to win eight gold medals at a single Games as the United States won the men's 4x100m medley relay on Sunday.
With the victory, Phelps overtook compatriot Mark Spitz, who won seven swimming gold medals at Munich in 1972.
Phelps had opened the swimming competition with a victory in the first event, the 400m individual medley, and went on to win the 200m medley, 100m and 200m butterfly, 200m freestyle and both the 4x100m and 4x200m freestyle relays.
Seven of his golds - including the first six - all came with world records, while his seventh, in the 100m butterfly, was by a margin of just one one-hundredth of a second.
In Athens four years ago, Phelps won six gold medals (100m and 200m butterfly, 200 and 400m individual medley, 4x200m freestyle relay and 4x100m medley relay), and two bronze (200m free and 4x100m free relay).
His 14 career gold medals are the most of any Olympian, with his nearest rivals Spitz, athletes Carl Lewis and Paavo Nurmi and Gymnast Larysa Latynina - who all won nine in their careers.
He's definitely my type of guy. I want to marry him!

Attented my cousin's 21st birthday party at CSC today. And she made these for us. Each family has one.

We are the Soh family and there's my name and my brother's (Xiangting and Bao Quan.) Aww.. That's so sweet of her. :)
I guess time really flies. We used to play barbie dolls together and now we are all grown up. I kinda feel a little nostalgic now. (Maybe we should play barbie dolls again some day.)
Anyway, here's my last minute skin design for the Linksys Router.

Phew, at least I managed to come up with one in time. I don't know. I realised I've become more and more last minute. This has always been a bad habit of mine and was part of the reason why I did so badly for my As. Alright, this shall be the last time. No more last minute work for me. No more procastination.
I'm going to dedicate the whole of tomorrow to study java programming. Alright! :)
Hooray to Xiangting!

Does this photo reminds you of a crime scene and the likes?
Anyway, here's my second DVDE assignment. it looks okay here but the quality sucks after I printed it out! Dang. To think I even spent a dollar fifty on the printing. So not cheap!

Well, last few weeks were crazy. Aisyah and I went to National Sailing Centre for filming for our VAF assignment last, last Saturday. And I had to wake up at 6 plus! Oh man, it was really bad. I hate waking up early. But the filming was really fun. We got to have a ride on a boat to film the sailors.
Then last Monday was my birthday! Whoo hoo.. Went all the way to Kallang Leisure Park for ice skating, and ate Nihon Mura and Azabu Sabo.

Mattcha Zen at Azabu Sabo
And I had a great chat with Elaine on Tuesday after our keyboard lesson. We went to Mac for Green Tea McFlurry! Green tea again! :) Anyway, I realised that we are 99% similar in interests. We both love ice cream waffles, cheesecakes, bubble tea, nature, travelling, ice skating, purple, and music! That's why we signed up for keyboard lessons! However, the scariest and most uncanny thing is that both of us only know a little bit of guitar, (and have I mentioned we both love God of Wonders and Heart of Worship?) but we were never able to master piano. LOL. And we are both 20 and July babies! Ha ha.. Ah.. This is too much of a coincidence! My gosh! And we both have the same chocolate pencil case. Just that hers is dark chocolate and mine is milk chocolate.
Now you believe wierd things do happen. Here's another example. Phoebe, Wen Jie and I were on the bus waiting to alight at the next stop while we were on our way back to school from Queensway Shopping Centre. Then after pressing the bell, Phoebe suddenly had this weird question. She asked if we have ever encountered a time where the bus driver forgot to stop at the bus stop. Both of us said no and the next thing we knew, we just missed ours. Dang.

And here's a good news. I finally sold a painting yesterday! Yay! And I earned myself $31.20. My first comission! :)
